Read MoreCountry Bank held their annual Staff Recognition event earlier this fall with an evening filled with comradery, great food, games and entertainment. During this event, fellow staff members came together to celebrate not only their on-going daily contributions to the organization but also to recognize new hires, employee service awards ranging from 5 – 25 years and recent recipients of the Bank’s “CB Shines” Staff Recognition program.
Country Bank continually fosters an environment for both customers and staff members that truly believes good manners and appreciation goes a long way. The organization recently launched a staff recognition program, “CB Shines”, which encourages staff members to be on the look-out for co-workers that embody the Bank’s established corporate values of Integrity, Service, Teamwork, Excellence and Prosperity; also known as the Bank’s “iStep” values. Within this program an employee can receive different levels of tiered recognition: Silver Spotlight (awarded anytime), Gold Star (awarded quarterly) and the President’s Platinum (awarded annually).
“The staff at Country Bank contributes to the Bank’s success in so many ways throughout the year and we are delighted to celebrate their contributions at our annual staff outing. I was thrilled to award the first President’s Platinum award to Carla Alves (Vice President, Cash Management & Development Officer). Carla embodies the Bank’s values and its mission; she was nominated by a co-worker who recognized the contributions that Carla makes to the organization and our customers on a daily basis. Our staff members are truly the best-of-the-best”, stated Paul Scully, President and CEO of Country Bank.
“I am humbled and honored to have received the first ever President’s Platinum Award. I have a wonderful team supporting me, which allows me to continually provide outstanding service to my customers. Whether it is responding to an email on non-bank hours or helping a customer with a difficult transaction, I am always happy to help anyone in need. Being the recipient of this award truly represents my commitment to my customers and to the Bank. I strive to represent the Bank’s core values in all that I do and believe in the Bank’s mission.” stated Carla Alves.
In addition to the President’s Platinum Award, the recipient of the quarterly Gold Star was recently announced as Mary Outhuse, Customer Care Center Representative. With 33 years of service at Country Bank, Mary consistently embodies the Bank’s iStep values on a daily basis and proves herself as an outstanding role model across the organization. Congratulations to Mary!
